Treatment Methods

My specialty is working with nurses who want to reduce burnout, get healthy, and have fun again!

Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT)

I use this approach to teach nurses how to increase their distress tolerance, build emotional regulation, learn interpersonal skills, and create helpful mindfulness practices. With this approach you will learn radical acceptance and discover your internal power to choose!

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

With this approach we will explore how your thoughts, feelings and behaviors are all connected and impact your overall life experience. You will learn to challenge limiting beliefs, manage difficult feelings, and develop healthy practices that align with your goals and values.

Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT)

In using this approach in therapy we will combine cognitive practices with a focus on mindfulness and we will incorporate meditation into the treatment as well. We will discover how awareness can be the gateway to healing and a tool to improve daily practices.

Person Centered Therapy

This approach is used as the center of the work that we will do together in session. It focuses on keeping your goals, perspectives, and input at the focus of the treatment. I believe that you have the capacity for growth and self-actualization in the use of this approach.
